Dr. Uwe Eppler will join Möhrle Happ Luther in February 2021. Attorney and tax advisor Uwe Eppler specializes in domestic and international tax law.

Dr. Uwe Eppler, who for many years was head of the German tax law division at Norton Rose Fulbright, is particularly well-known for his advice in the area of warranty and indemnity insurance and is a proven expert when it comes to advice on tax matters involving mergers and acquisitions and international tax law. Attorney Patricia Machulla will join the firm along with him. Uwe Eppler primarily advises companies in the insurance, real estate and transportation sectors. “We are very pleased that Mr. Eppler, with his many years of experience, will strengthen and further develop our expertise in transaction tax and international tax law," notes Dr. Tobias Möhrle, partner at the law firm.

Prior to this career move Uwe Eppler, 48, was a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright for several years. In 2011 he was a founding partner at their office in Hamburg and, during his tenure there, he spent several years as part of the German management team as head of the German tax division and a member of various partnership committees in London. In addition, he looks back on many years of professional experience at international law firms such as DLA Piper and Latham & Watkins. He began his career almost 20 years ago at Andersen and EY.
