Lawyer Marko Uhl will join Möhrle Happ Luther's Indirect Tax practice group as a partner in July 2023. The customs law expert expands the law firm's portfolio with a unique strategic advisory approach, which is complemented by his many years of practice in the Directorate General of Customs and as a logistics specialist: Uhl has almost 30 years of experience in handling international supply chains. He is supported by his Hamburg team.

Most recently, Uhl was managing director of the law firm AWB Tax & Law in the areas of customs law, foreign trade law, excise duties and VAT. He also specialises in tax collection and administration. In co-operation with the Federal Ministry of Finance and the European Commission, Uhl was involved in the development of European customs law. In addition to his advisory work, he teaches as a lecturer at several universities.
